General conditions of use of the site
1) Security
CNEP-Banque undertakes to deploy its best efforts, according to the legal and regulatory requirements and in accordance with the best international practices, to secure and maintain the security of its Services.
The User/Customer must inform the internet web site support service of any failure or malfunction of the web site service or of its User account at relationclient@cnepbanque.dz.
CNEP-Banque can take all necessary emergency measures to ensure the security and integrity of its information systems, the internet web site, Services and/or the User account.
2) Personal data
These General Terms of Use are subject to the provisions of Law No. 18-07 of 10 June 2018 on the protection of individuals in the processing of personal data and covered by the duty of professional secrecy.
CNEP-Banque implements organisational and technical security measures to guarantee the confidentiality and integrity of its customers’ personal data collected and processed at its level.
3) Security Obligations
It is the responsibility of each user of internet web site to maintain the confidentiality of their connection identifiers and to take all appropriate measures to protect themselves from various malicious programs and attack attempts.
In the event that the User/Customer forgets or loses his (her) password, a request to reset the secret code must be made at their request.
The user shall also refrain from any use of the services that is contrary to a legal, regulatory or customary provision, as well as any use of the services that is likely to harm or infringe the rights of the Bank.
Any infringement of the Bank’s automated data processing systems is prohibited, namely and without limitation, any act of piracy, attempted intrusion, propagation of malicious software, etc.
The customer must secure the internet site web space and his accounts by the following practices:
* Choose a complex and unique password and change it regularly
* Do not divulge your secret codes to anyone (not to the bank, the police or even your family)
* the password should not be saved on a terminal
* Do not connect from a link found in an e-mail (or SMS), this is surely phishing
* Do not answer or give your codes by phone when you receive a dubious call, it is surely vishing
* If in doubt, contact your bank
* regularly check your account to make sure there have been no irregular actions
* Regularly consult the bank’s security instructions
4) Guarantees and responsibilities
CNEP-Banque makes every effort to offer the User a secure Site, particularly in terms of absence of viruses and availability.
However, it is up to the User to protect his computer system, equipment or computer network by using a security device such as a firewall, up-to-date anti-malware, etc.
The user must also ensure the safety of his identifiers and take all the necessary measures to prevent an unauthorized or fraudulent use the site web by means of his identifiers.
All transactions made on the internet website by means of these identifiers (login and password) are worth identification of the Customer and exempt CNEP-Banque from any control.
CNEP-Banque shall not be liable for any harmful consequences which may result from the use of the internet web site by an unauthorised third party, following a fault or negligence on the part of the Customer.
The CNEP-Banque could not also and in no case to be held responsible for the elements apart from its control (disturbances of the Internet network involving a dysfunction or an impossibility of accessing the Site, etc) and the direct or indirect damage which could possibly be undergone by the terminal of user and in particular, his smartphones, computers, tablets, software, equipment networks and any other material used to reach the service on line and his site and/or to use the whole of the proposed services.
